Meizhou city, the only home I ever known. I used to feel small and insignificant among skyscrapers. But not anymore.Nowadays, people in China unthinkingly believing those flexible, politically current key words, such as “urban forest” “urban stage”, etc. At the same time, we gradually become aware of certain changes that the rapid development of communication technology has been breaking down the spatial and temporal limits.“The cultural work done in the past by gods and epic sagas is now being done by laundry detergent commercials and comic strip characters.”Almost all of us are inevitably drawn into the torrent of “Fast-food Culture” and they find no way out.

[ XL FORMATION ]
THE ELABORATION OF FORM
Nowadays, cities become congregations of skyscrapers and straight roads; public spaces are designed for transportation; the small-sized buildings are regarded as uneconomic practices. My goal is to try and explore the most spatial scale to architecture, users and cities by changing the mode of existence of relatively small scale building and urban green space.

[ L LANDSCAPE ]
THE PURIFICATION OF CONCEPT
I believe that the connection of the city landscape and human activities requires both physical interventions and rhetorical enunciation. People holding different destinations ask for different shortcut; people having various needs ask for various spacial possibilities. I cut the site along the shortcut, then subdivide and reset these fragments to form the central space while providing active edges with programs.
