I am a person who is stuck in the era of physical books and letters. The touch of paper and the smell of pen and ink cannot be given up. Even if you don’t have the habit of writing a diary every day, you will always record some thoughts and insights periodically. Sometimes I like to kill time by drawing randomly, especially when I'm waiting for someone or something.
I found that thinking by hand is a great way. As you draw often, your ideas will unfold in front of you. Drawing is also a great way to communicate because I have a brain that thinks in image, so my descriptions can sometimes be hard to follow by other people. In this situation, I always draw and explain to them on the paper, then they will quickly understand my thoughts.
For many people, drawing by hand is an inefficient way of working in today's society. Many drawings can be drawn quickly by computers. However, when people really start to sit down, unfold the drawings, pick up the pen and start painting, many thoughts will be extended along with the drawings, and many ideas will burst out new ideas while waiting for drawing. Therefore, in my opinion, the most important thing is not drawing by hand, but to think by hand. Whenever I open my notebook, I feel proud and grateful.
