My interest in photography lies in finding the beauty in my everyday life and conserving it. It can be a special light situation, an emotional movie, a place, a scent from my childhood, a plant, tea and book afternoons, a walk in the mountains or a swim in the pool or a certain song that inspires me to do what I love. I love to live between a forest, music and books, capturing emotions in my works and enjoying all of this with my lovelies. Any beautiful moment that I capture makes me excited and happy.
I started taking analog photographs when I was 16 years and are still very passionate in playing with both analog and digital cameras as well as filming short videos about the beauty of daily life. I am obsessed with the grain and small details in an analogue photography that seems secrets lie beneath it. Every subject is chosen carefully. Different to digital photography, analogue photography lives of warm showers, floating across a piece of paper, red flashes created accidentally and wonderful colors, which awake memories. The uncertainty caused by the chemicals in film often brings me unexpected surprises. At the same time, the most primitive mechanical structure of the camera also enables people to truly dialogue with light, shadow and objects.
[08:00 am] The morning light wakes me up and I peek trough the blinds to see what this new day has to offer.
[09:00 am] Before starting to enjoy the day, I walked along the river to work. A man is rowing a boat to clean the river.
[01:00 pm] Sometimes you can discover so many beautiful things outside the window.
[05:00 pm] The sunlight is getting red/orange. A warm evening begins.
[07:00 pm] Lighting up a candle, turning on the music, and getting cozy on the sofa.
