Xi’an Five Star Street Catholic Church was built in Qing Dynasty (1716A.D.), located at Five Star Street in Xi’an, hence the name. It is the archdiocese of Xi’an and the Bishop’s office. In 1884A.D., it was extended to have a larger hall and to be much stronger than ever. This sino-western architecture is popular with locals and play an important role in their lives.
